Employees are expected to uphold the values and principles of our cultural framework in performance of their job duties.Overview of COO Role:The COO will have overall operational responsibility for ANZ which includes but not limited: Supporting the Country’s and Group’s wide agendaPartnering closely with MD’s and functional leads to chart the country’s future growth and strategy Optimizing operational processes and infrastructure Overseeing the governance and control framework for the regional business in partnership with the control & assurance functionsManaging Business Initiatives, Operational Projects and change management for the business including regulatory changeEnsuring effective communication and co-ordination across all core infrastructure functionsActing as an entity Director for regulated businessesPerson Specification:Strategic and Operational LeadershipProvide leadership and input for all strategic plans and implementation processesLead the annual operations plan and budget process, manage effectively within the plan and budget, and measure and evaluate progress against goalsLead, coach, develop and retain high-performance senior management team and demonstrate a strong leadership presenceIdentify best practices and improve internal systems with an eye toward future needs and budget realities Align operational models as appropriate; for greater cost and operational efficiency Ensure effective co-ordination and communication across all operational, control, assurance and advisory functions External Relationships Manage and cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders to secure and expand strategic opportunities and recurring revenue streamsManage all critical outsourced servicesAct as a statesman publicly representing the Company to external constituency groups including joint venture partners, regulators, governmental, and other private organizationsCorporate Governance and Control In partnership with the Group assurance functions, review, modify and/or establish best practices and regional corporate governance structures which are designed to ensure that all business activities operate in adherence to applicable laws, regulations and company valuesEnsure appropriate escalation of relevant risk, compliance or people issues to the functional headsParticipate in the local/ regional committees as directed by the CEO as required.Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
