The Clinical Project Officer, Social Work Rehabilitation works in collaboration with the Allied Health Director, Head of Unit and broader project team for Noarlunga Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation and is responsible for coordinating and managing projects related to social work practice in mental health rehabilitation using their relevant discipline specific skills and experience.
About the role:
As the Clinical Project Officer, Social Work Rehabilitation you will have the opportunity to contribute to a new service whilst maintaining and working in collaboration with stakeholders. Duties for the role may include:
* Influence how Social Work services will be provided to consumers in the new Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit
* Review, and make recommendations, develop and implement workflow processes and quality assurance processes to improve practice
* Utilise and develop outcome measures to evaluate efficacy of Social Work interventions delivered and introduce new practices in response to evaluations
* Provide leadership, consultancy and advice to management and other health professionals on service delivery, development and practice within social work services in the context of Mental Health Rehabilitation
* Acts as a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person
About you:
* Demonstrated high level of communication skills
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
* Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
* Experience in Service Improvement activities
* Experience in using organisation management information systems
