Job Title: Assistant Director Engagement
The NSW regional office, located in Nowra is seeking an Assistant Director Engagement for a key leadership position within the ENSW Branch Leadership Team.
This role includes delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities.
The Assistant Director Engagement works with a considerable degree of independence, under broad direction from the Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving the implementation of branch strategic planning, through close engagement with key partners, stakeholders, and internal colleagues.
* Developing effective strategic partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders including First Nations peoples, community partners, businesses, and organisations.
* Managing stakeholder expectations of the NIAA work program, priorities, and program changes, considering local and cultural sensitivities and stakeholder business imperatives.
* Leading and supporting employee performance and contributions to regional results.
* Demonstrating high-level capability and commitment to continue to develop cultural competency.

Eligibility Requirements:
* To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen.
* The occupant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected) level security clearance, or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
* The successful candidate will be required to be assessed through our pre-employment screening checks, such as an Australian Criminal History Check.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
