What We're Looking For: Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Chef in a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Qualifications: Formal culinary training or a relevant Hospitality & Tourism qualification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities: 1.
Food Preparation & Cooking Plan, prepare, and cook meals following recipes and quality standards.
Create and modify recipes to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented to high standards.

Menu Planning & Development Design and develop seasonal or daily menus based on customer trends.
Incorporate feedback and industry trends into new dish creations.
Calculate food costs and maintain menu profitability.

Kitchen & Team Management Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including line cooks and assistants.
Schedule shifts and allocate duties to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and disciplinary action when necessary.

Quality Control & Food Safety Ensure all dishes meet high standards of taste, quality, and presentation .
Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain hygiene and safety.
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Inventory & Cost Management Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
Order ingredients and supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
Conduct inventory checks and control food wastage.

Health & Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and workplace health standards.
Maintain proper food storage to prevent spoilage and contamination.
Train staff on safe food handling procedures and kitchen protocols.

Collaboration & Customer Service Coordinate with front-of-house staff for smooth service and timely orders.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
Work with management to develop promotions and seasonal offerings .
8.
Administrative & Budgeting Tasks Maintain records of food costs, inventory, and sales .
Develop and manage budgets for kitchen operations.
Assist in the hiring process for kitchen staff.
9.
Creativity & Innovation Experiment with new ingredients, techniques, and plating styles.
Introduce signature dishes to enhance customer experience and brand identity.
