Experience in all aspects of electrical switchboard manufacturing is highly desirable, but on-the-job training will be available for applicants with the aptitude to adapt to new environments. This full-time secure role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to enjoy stable ongoing employment while contributing to the delivery of essential and specialist electrical equipment and infrastructure.Our assembly workshop is air-conditioned for a more comfortable work environment.What you'll be doing:Assembly and installation of LV switchgear up to 3200AAssembly of modular metalwork structures, cutting, drilling, and light metal fabricationWiring to control schematics for HV protection relay panels, PLC panels and control systemsTesting of connections, circuits and completing test documentationPlanning and scheduling the work, good time keeping and following verbal and written instructionImplement and adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulationsWork as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projectsWhat we're looking for:Qualified electrician with a current Northern Territory license, White CardExperience in switchboards manufacturing is highly desirableStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation particularly schematics and wiring diagramsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulationsAbility to work accuratelyExperience in:Control wiringPower cablingFault Finding and TestingBusbar experience is desirable but not essential.Our Team:Our team members thrive on excellence, innovation and teamwork.
