About the role In this role, you will lead the delivery of an excellent and reliable government support service that will drive quality government decision making and performance. Responsibilities include leading and managing Ministerial, Parliamentary, and Cabinet services for the Department. About you The successful candidate will bring extensive senior management experience in a similar environment. Your proven high-level management skills will enable you to lead multidisciplinary teams working in complex areas. Your highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and positively influence team culture and capability, will be critical to success in this role. You will bring a strong customer service approach, along with compliance focus, that improves business outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management and assurance of information management and decision-making processes of a large complex government organisation. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
