About The Role
Join the dedicated team at Rigney Accountants as a full-time Senior Tax Accountant based in Bomaderry, NSW. In this pivotal role, you will utilise your expertise in taxation to provide high-quality, compliant financial services to a diverse client base.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Preparing and lodging taxation returns for individual and business clients
2. Providing taxation advice and planning to clients
3. Collaborating with the broader accounting team to ensure seamless client service
4. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulations
5. Assisting with other accounting and bookkeeping tasks as required
6. Managing and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and technical support
What We're Looking For
1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
2. Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar taxation accounting role
3. Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and regulations
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Exceptional communication and client service abilities
6. Commitment to ongoing professional development
7. Experience preparing Self-Managed Superannuation Funds using BGL 365 is ideal but not required
