About the RoleThe Future Public Transport Ticketing (FPTT) System will ensure Victoria has a ticketing system that is fit for purpose for 15 years and beyond to meet customers’ expectations and the challenges of the transport network, while facilitating the efficient collection of fare revenues and unlocking potential benefits.The FPTT system will replace the existing Myki system with Account Based Ticketing (ABT), where customer information is stored in a centralised back-office system. ABT will enable greater travel choice for customers as well as flexibility to implement fare and policy changes quickly and to introduce new products. The FPTT system will be rolled out progressively.The Delivery workstream is responsible for ensuring the overall readiness of DTP to deliver the new ticketing solution in Victoria. This includes ensuring that DTP and the service contractor are delivering to project milestones, facilitating communications between the service providers and key stakeholders, and overseeing the on-time implementation and delivery of the ticketing solution.The Senior Project Manager Customer Channels is responsible for coordinating management activity across the Customer workstream, primarily working with the Customer Lead, project managers and other workstream leads.This is a fixed term role for 2 years. To access the full position description, please click here.Your Outcomes And Accountabilities, Delivered the Concession Entitlement Validation Platform (CEVP) program in line with the wider Public Transport ticketing program. Managed the CEVP stakeholders both internal and external to DTP and CEVP deliverables across the programs scheduled milestones. Successfully tracked the progress of activities in the Customer channels delivery phase schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones Identified and effectively addressed risks and issues that arose for the Customer channels during project activity, mitigating and managing risks and roadblocks. Delivered all required reporting, providing comprehensive and accurate updates to stakeholders and project management oversight Successfully managed stakeholder relationships critical to the execution and delivery of the work in the Customer channels stream, fostering strong collaboration and support. Facilitated seamless communication and coordination with functional teams to ensure timely availability of resources and achievement of workstream deliverables. Reported progress and provided expert advice to senior stakeholders and other workstreams as required, contributing to informed decision-making and overall project success.
