We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Residential Aged Care Facility team.
You’ll bring energy, dedication, and a genuine passion for creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you’ll play a key part in property upkeep, handling both planned and reactive maintenance, essential services, and minor works—all of which contribute to the organization’s success and our commitment to delivering high-quality services.
What you bring:
* Demonstrated skills in building repairs and/or general building maintenance with knowledge/understanding of all building services systems.
* Painting experience required.
* Relevant trade qualification (preferred).
* Demonstrated skills in carpentry, painting, HVAC, fire, hydraulics, and electrical knowledge.
* Knowledge and skills working with plant and equipment.
* Commitment to customer service and aged/disability care services.
* Understanding of OHS requirements and responsibilities and demonstrated knowledge of manual handling/plant requirements.
* A current Victorian driver’s license.
* Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously.
* Ability to work with staff and contractors.
