About your role
You will be responsible for the regulatory project leadership for Australia and New Zealand, collaborating within the FMC regulatory community and portfolio to define the most effective regulatory strategy within allocated budget. Aligning registration plans and expectations across ANZ with regular open communication exchanges with ANZ business. Ensuring upkeep of regulatory databases and systems.
Your responsibilities will be
Leadership
1. Work to establish, develop and maintain cooperative working relationship with regulatory authorities and other key influential stakeholders.
2. Align direction and performance expectations with manager and providing timely feedback on tasks for growth and development path.
3. Ensure compliance at all times with the Business Code of Conduct, priorities for product registrations and regulatory affairs activities across Australia.
Management:
4. Preparation of product registration and regulatory work plans in alignment with business goals.
5. Monitoring applications, provide timely updates to the business.
6. Anticipating regulatory challenges, identify data and reports to support timely registration applications.
7. Collaborating with development and ensuring alignment in the preparations and implementation of Australian registration trails.
8. Support in preparation and management of import permits and export permits/certificate applications.
Operations
9. Maintain electronic database on regulatory submissions and data packages.
Product Stewardship
10. Promote FMC’s commitment to product stewardship, working with Regional Product Stewardship Lead and other functions to ensure the highest standards of stewardship are upheld.
Compliance
11. Keep up to date with changes and developments in regulations, laws, policies and guideline relevant to the business. Advise and recommend actions in Australian policies, practices and procedure as required to ensure compliance.
Budget Management
12. Preparation and management of regulatory budgets with manager, providing timely reporting on spending progress and plans to the business as required .
Qualifications, Skills & requirements preference
13. Master’s degree or PhD in Agriculture or related Science (preferable)
14. Min 5 years professional work experience (regulatory related)
15. Background from government, medicine or agriculture related
16. Good knowledge of Australian registration procedures and requirements
17. Good organizational and planning skills (detail & result oriented)
18. Good English communication (writing & spoken)
