Seeking a junior doctor at the level of PGY2 or above who has completed internship for a house officer job in surgery with a premier healthcare institution in New Zealand.
This job provides an excellent grounding for House Officers looking to grow and develop their skills in surgery and surgical specialties including:
* ENT /Ophthalmology
* Urology
* Orthopaedics
* Surgical Relief
* General Surgery
Position Highlights:
* Hospital has a dedicated Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit, Regional Cancer Treatment Service, and one of the largest trauma centres nationwide
* Provides industry leading specialised care and emergency treatment
* Regional tertiary Cancer Treatment Service providing Medical Oncology, Haematology and Radiation Oncology
* 6 or 12 months runs
* Opportunities to do both an ICU and an Emergency Medicine rotation
* Supportive training environment

* Medical Degree

Remuneration:
* Competitive remuneration package based upon level of experience and qualifications comprising basic salary and allowances NZD 120,000 - 250,000 PA (NZRDA or STONZ scales)
* Refund of medical practice expenses
* Superannuation 6%
* 6 weeks annual leave

* Opportunities to participate in research projects, pursue subspecialist fields of interest, and become involved with medical student and junior medical officer postgraduate education
