Description:Overview of role:Coliban Water is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Performance Manager to join their team for a full-time, 3-year fixed-term opportunity.Within the Assets & Operations Group, the Commercial Performance Manager is part of the Strategic Partnerships Team.
The team's primary function is to drive performance and benefits through effective contracting of our major outsourcing arrangements.The Commercial Performance Manager will lead the Commercial Performance Team in areas relating to the performance, financial management and change management of our major transactions and strategic partnerships.
This spans several different contract models that includes operations & maintenance contracts, public private partnerships and major service contracts and consultancy head contracts.Key Responsibilities:As our Commercial Performance Manager you'll be accountable for: Delivering specialist commercial service and advice to Coliban Water in relation to the partnership contracts managed by this role.Ensuring optimal performance of commercial transactions in relation to the partnership contracts.Utilising technical and operational expertise to enhance the organisation's position in relation to the partnership contracts.Utilising economic and financial expertise to enhance the organisation's position.About you:Relevant tertiary qualification in business management, finance, economics, law, engineering, or related discipline along with extensive and demonstrated experience in the evaluation, implementation and management of commercial transactions/projects/operations.Extensive knowledge and experience in evaluating, implementing and managing service contracts and other contracting models.Comprehensive understanding of commercial principles and ability to use professional judgement in determining fair and reasonable outcomes.Knowledge of a broad suite of service contract delivery models, from high value/high risk Public Private Partnership contracting arrangements to low risk transfer operations and maintenance models.A valid Driver's licence.You may also be requested to undertake per or post-employment testing, such as psychometric testing, medical assessments, drug testing, police checks, security clearances, and other assessments.Sound like you?
