About the role The Inventory Controller roleis a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC.
Reporting to the Regional Inventory Manager, some of your responsibilities will be to support inventory management by ensuring accurate order preparation, implementing process improvements, and maintaining inventory control to meet KPI targets.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, reconcile discrepancies, monitor cycle counts, and minimize warehouse damages.
In this role you will: Establish / build working relationships with other functional areas.
Liaise with Regional Logistics Manager, Distribution Centre Manager, Despatch Staff, Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Staff to ensure order preparation and loading is accurate, efficient and completed in a timely manner.
Manage all inventory control processes and procedures to agreed KPI targets.
Reconcile inventory count discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare daily cycle count sheets and monitor count accuracy.
Maintain IRA procedures to ensure they accurately reflect the duties and tasks required.
Follow work instructions Identify and report hazards and aspects Report all incidents including injuries, plant and equipment damage, and environmental impacts Report all unsafe situations immediately to Warehouse Supervisor Act responsibly for the safety of self and others, and the environment Report all incidents including near misses, injuries and damaged plant and equipment, and damage to the environment Wear appropriate personal protective equipment Ensure tools & materials are in a safe condition before use Comply with CSR policies and procedures for dealing with people What you bring to the role Willing to gain experience with planning systems including MRP and Warehouse Management Systems.
Demonstrated ability in solving problems by using root cause analysis.
Willing to drive a Tug – training provided.
