About the opportunity
As a Payroll Officer, you will work in our friendly and supportive payroll team and be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll fortnightly. You will work closely with our HR & finance team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and provide exceptional service to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process end-to-end payroll for 2000+ employees on a fortnightly basis.
* Maintain and update employee records in Payroll system.
* Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolution.
* Prepare reconciliations for leave balances and backpays.
* Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and enhance accuracy.
* Interpret complex EBA's and Awards
* Process terminations.
