We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced State Manager to join the Ticketek team.

About the role
Reporting directly to the MD of Ticketek Australia you will lead the WA team, ensuring internal operational services and activities are satisfying client needs and meeting commercial deadlines. Be the key contact, providing a critical communications link between the Client/Venue and Ticketek, whilst ensuring the on-going enhancement and development of client relationships, and providing a high level of customer service. Work with the Marketing and Business Development team to provide further value-added services and solutions to clients that increase the occupancy and yield outcomes of events under your responsibility.
Requirements
As the State Manager for WA your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Management
* Develop strong working relationships with promoters and venues to ensure effective communication and continued business opportunities
* Liaise closely with client(s) re on-sales, ticket sales, etc
* Analyse event performance, tracking the daily, weekly, monthly and total event sales, identifying sales trends and actions that may be required to achieve the targeted goals for the client
Commercial – Contract Management
* Ensure strong understanding of contractual terms
* Manage contractual compliance overall
Retain and Grow Existing Clients
* Identifying and/or working on developing business opportunities. This may include being involved in components of the negotiating or re-negotiating (or retaining) business process
Event Operations
* In conjunction with relevant Account and Event Manager and/or Systems Support employees (as applicable), assist in developing and documenting a detailed events plan to ensure all milestones in relation to the event are met.
Event Marketing and Promotion
* Brief Marketing to identify key requirements to develop a marketing proposal for client campaigns
* Promote and secure from Clients a marketing and promotional campaign budget, to plan & implement in conjunction with the client, a marketing and promotional campaign
To be successful for this position we are looking for:
* Strong experience in people leadership and development
* Experience and understanding of industry and awareness of marketing principles in relation to live entertainment
* Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
* Ability to think and act strategically
* Strong commercial, communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
* Flexibility - this position requires weekends and out-of-hours/evening work where required, so flexibility with your working hours is imperative in order to be able to successfully carry out the role
