The role
As part of our Strategy & Communications group, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator will support the development and delivery of Saab Australia’s communication and marketing strategy and coordinate internal and external communications activities to support achievement of the company’s long term business strategy and annual objectives.
Further, the successful candidate will:
1. Support the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing and communications activities including exhibitions and events, sponsorship's, campaigns, content creation and coordination of Saab’s owned digital channels.
2. Coordinate internal and external communications activities and develop materials including brochures, tenders and submissions, videos, website and digital content, graphics and signage, PowerPoint presentations and reports.
3. Draft written communications including media releases, key messages, social media and website content, newsletter and intranet articles.
4. Produce creative content for various communications channels utilising graphic design, digital and video creation and editing resources.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.

Your skills and experience will include:
5. Ability to develop professional and compelling marketing materials across a variety of channels and executions.
6. High quality written skills with ability to research and write for a variety of audiences along with short and long form content.
7. Ability to research technical content and refine requirements for general publication.
8. Experience with digital media creation and video editing.
9. Ability to effectively manage external consultants and internal stakeholders.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
