Hudson is seeking a Data Quality Project Lead for a large organization. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our project team through data cleansing, archiving, and quality improvement processes. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing data strategies and ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direction and oversight to project team members on data cleansing, archiving, and data quality.
* Develop and deliver technical documentation on project data cleansing strategies, business processes, and data quality metrics using appropriate tools.
* Apply advanced analytical and conceptual thinking skills to gather and interpret information effectively.
* Manage projects within an SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) environment.
* Utilize SQL and SQL scripting to support data quality initiatives and project requirements.
* Communicate complex technical ICT concepts in business terms, establish rapport, and persuade stakeholders effectively.
* Create high-quality documentation and deliver information clearly to a wide range of audiences.
* Demonstrate strategic, analytical, and innovative thinking to identify and develop business solutions.
* Lead and manage a team, set priorities, establish goals, and achieve agreed outcomes.
* Apply principles of Equity and Diversity in all aspects of work.
* Ensure adherence to WH&S (Work Health and Safety) legislation, principles, and practices, including risk assessment in accordance with WH&S Act (2012), Regulations, and AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management - Principles and Guidelines.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in directing and overseeing data quality projects and teams.
* Strong technical documentation skills and experience with data cleansing strategies and metrics.
* Proficiency in SQL and SQL scripting, with practical experience in applying these skills to data quality projects.
* Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a proven ability to interpret complex information.
* Practical experience managing projects in SDLC and ITIL environments.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ICT concepts clearly and professionally.
* Strategic, analytical, and innovative mindset with a lateral approach to problem-solving.
* Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in setting goals and achieving outcomes.
* Knowledge of Equity and Diversity principles.
* Commitment to WH&S legislation and practices.
