About the role
This position works in Physiotherapy department across West Moreton Health.
The purpose of this role is to perform allocated clinical activities for which you have been trained and assessed as competent under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist. You will develop and build clinical competency through participation in workplace training, education, and feedback processes while engaged in formal Physiotherapy tertiary studies.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Ability to apply knowledge in Physiotherapy, the health care system, computer literacy, medical terminology, general medical conditions and basic anatomy,
* Understanding of own scope of practice.
* Ability to acquire the skills to provide a defined range of assessments and treatments under supervision and direction of a Physiotherapist and undertake operational and administrative duties relevant to the position.
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with consumers and the multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to use initiative and assume responsibility for the assigned workload, including the use of effective and efficient planning and organisational skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Appointment to this position requires proof of enrolment in a tertiary degree qualification in Physiotherapy at a recognised tertiary institution.
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16(PDF) ( )
