The Milleara Delicatessen – Keilor East VIC
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable candidate to work in the Delicatessen. The candidate must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday. We are flexible when arranging the set workdays and hours to suit the candidate's personal situation and lifestyle.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Working as a team in running and maintaining the deli
2. Provision of outstanding customer service, which will include excellent food and product knowledge
3. Lead the team with daily tasks and expectations, performance, training & development and appraisals
4. Stock management, ordering and sourcing
5. Ensuring that the deli section is run in accordance with all food-safety standards and laws
Suitable Candidates
Suitable candidates will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
1. A passion for Italian and Greek food
2. Previous experience in a delicatessen position (essential)
3. Excellent product knowledge, and an ability to assist customers with a range of food-related enquiries
4. Excellent time-management skills and a strong work-ethic
5. Ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a larger team
6. Exemplary personal hygiene and personal presentation
