Location: Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, AustraliaChandler Macleod has partnered with a family-owned business committed to excellent service and genuine care for the local community to find an energetic and experienced Finance Manager.As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our company.You will play a critical role in driving our vision to be recognised as an industry leader, fostering growth through innovation and excellence.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and Manage Financial Operations:Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Provide key commercial insights into business performance and implement improvement measures.Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.Monitor and manage cash flow, providing detailed reporting and analysis as necessary.Supervise the day-to-day activities of the finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that inspires and motivates the team to maximise performance and foster professional growth.Financial Strategy:Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.Lead financial modelling, planning, and budgeting processes for each department.Engage in regular discussions with management regarding financial performance.Utilise financial data and industry trend analysis to advise on long-term financial forecasts.Financial Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial legislation.Reporting:Prepare accurate departmental reports in line with the monthly company timetable, including Profit & Loss accounts with analysis and commentary, forecasts, and annual plans.Deliver robust reporting standards, simplifying complex data into actionable insights that can be easily understood.Prepare BAS reports.Financial Analysis:Generate monthly management accounts, conduct regular analytical reviews, and compare performance against budget targets for each department.Finance Registers:Maintain the fixed asset register.Maintain P&E register, providing insights and concise advice regarding the turnover of items and the analysis of acquisition methods (rent to buy, lease, purchase outright, etc.).Process and Document Improvement:Collaborate on process documentation and improvement initiatives as needed.Internal & External Stakeholder Relationships:Be a part of the senior leadership team responsible for driving organisational performance.Partner with all business areas to enhance commercial awareness and financial understanding at the project level.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions.Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement and identify and implement opportunities.Ad-hoc Support:Provide reporting and support as requested by the CEO, P&C Lead, and Operations Managers.Deliver additional financial analysis and support as required.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record in a managerial role.Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.What's on Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.A dynamic and supportive work environment where innovation and excellence are encouraged.The chance to play a key role in the financial success and sustainability of our company.How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and why you're a great fit for this role.For further information on the role, call Jo Ellerman on (02) 66919106.Salary: AU$115000 - AU$125000 per annum + superannuation #J-18808-Ljbffr
