Assistant Accountant Position
This is a supportive management role split across 2 sites, requiring a tertiary qualification in accounting and strong attention to detail.
As an Assistant Accountant, you will maintain and reconcile business performance statistics and reports, perform accounts payable receipt and approval process, administer float balances and reimburse staff expenses, and prepare sundry accounts receivable records and communications with stakeholders. You will also support the Director of Finance in the preparation of management reports and provide backup support to other business services as required.

Selection Criteria
* Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, or equivalent (or working towards)
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Experience in Hospital or Healthcare environment (desired)
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work through large amounts of data
* Advanced computer skills in MS Excel
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts
