The Finance team provides a range of financial support and analysis services to all of ASIC internal stakeholders.
Finance Operations provides direct financial support to the various business units including Administered and Departmental, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxation, Unclaimed Monies and Industry Funding.

You will be asked to indicate the classification that you wish to apply for.
ASIC 2 role is a permanent position and ASIC 3 is a temporary role up to 12 months.
The roles:
ASIC 2- Revenue Finance Officer
You will be responsible to conduct debt management activities including liaising with debtors and reconciling debtor accounts and assess and process levy waiver applications and payment plan applications.
You will also process write-offs and assess general correspondence.
It is a great opportunity to liaise directly with customers to resolve enquiries relating to Industry Funding reporting obligations and business activity metric data.
You will also maintain accurate records on systems and registers and will manage a debtor portfolio.
About you
Experience in customer service, data entry with using a variety of software applications and working in a team environment will be highly beneficial.
You will have experience in Debt Management and Account Receivables processes and will follow procedures and defined processes accurately and in a timely manner.
ASIC 3- Revenue Finance Officer
You will provide training, coaching and ongoing support to team members ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and guidelines and will analyse and prepare data to assist with the effective operations of ASIC's administered revenue.
Conduct statistical reporting on information such as debtor profile, collection rate and workload.
Plan, create and undertake testing for implementation of projects and system upgrades.
(User Acceptance and Business Verification Testing) Apply sound judgment in making recommendations in relation to levy waivers and payment plans and decision-making skills when exercising delegated powers.
Provide advice to management on stakeholder issues and/or risks, including recommendations to resolve issues and liaise with a diverse range of internal and external key stakeholders.
Undertake and prepare responses to Audit requests (internal and ANAO) and escalated matters/complaints and undertake Debt management activities.
About you
Strong working knowledge using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level to develop and produce statistical reports.
Stakeholder management experience including building and managing internal and external stakeholders and utilising networks with solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret and apply legislation and experience working in financial services industry is desirable.
