Monitor and maintain the Quality Management System to ensure supplier and internal compliance to the project Quality Management Plan and Quality Management System (QMS). Assist with the development and preparation of quality reports, documents and records.The ProjectThe Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.Key accountabilities for the position:Assist the project team with implementation of the Quality Management Plan and related systems. Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of the ASWA Audit Schedule.Lead internal audits and assist in external auditing and assessments, including accreditation, suppliers and vendors.Report on the status of Nonconformance and Defects. Report on and expedite actions required to close, including escalation where necessary.Assist with the maintenance of External Certification for the QMS. Assist with maintenance and development of the QMS, including associated tools and assist with development and delivery of training with respect to the QMS.Maintenance of the Calibration Register and control of calibrated equipment. Maintenance of the Inspector Register. Verify that capability assessment of 2nd and 3rd Party contracted Inspectors is completed prior to use, and performance assessed and monitored thereafter.Focal point for the receipt of Notifications of Inspection (NOIs) and coordination of inspections with the quality team and other interested parties. Support other members of the quality team with the compilation of documentation required for inspection and testing.Distribution of Inspection and Audit Reports. Logging of required actions as identified by inspectors, auditors and reviewers. Report on actions and expedite to closure, including escalation where necessary.Coordination of completions and punch listing walk downs. Logging of identified outstanding works and defects. Report on open actions and expedite to closure.
