Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking a motivated and highly organised Recruitment Co-ordinator to join the MGGS Principal's Office Team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will support the effective operation of the HR function by facilitating recruitment processes from position brief to induction and onboarding.
This role provides recruitment services across the organisation and is responsible for both internal and external processes ensuring a highly professional and positive experience for both candidates and new employees.
This is an important role supporting the delivery of staffing and resourcing goals with a focus on excellence in staff attraction, placement and induction.
This role would suit a candidate passionate about service excellence with around 2– 3 years of experience in a relevant HR or recruitment specific role. As part of the Principal's Office, the Recruitment Co-ordinator will work within a professional, warm and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment process planning, including the preparation of business causes in conjunction with stakeholders.New starter onboarding and induction-related administration tasks.Updating and creating position descriptions in conjunction with stakeholders and the HR Manager and Officer.Creation of position advertisements and preparation of recruitment campaigns.Candidate search and sourcing using recruitment platforms and agencies as required.Shortlisting of candidates in conjunction with the interview panel and managing contact with candidates from interview to offer ensuring a highly professional experience.Managing the MGGS Employment Inbox including responding to candidates.Creating Talent Pools to support future staffing needs.Recruitment related administration and digital record keeping as per policy.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of recruitment processes, the relevant employment legislation and best practice approaches including an understanding of the employment life-cycle and the important role of effective recruitment.
This role combines high volume recruitment with exposure to a complex and fast-paced Human Resources environment.

The Recruitment Co-ordinator will not only be polished, friendly and warm in their demeanour but will show strong initiative and exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion as a part their day-to-day tasks.
They will be naturally collaborative, manage time and interruptions and operate with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Selection Criteria include but are not limited to: High level attention to detail and strong administration skills to complete tasks quickly and accurately.Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Well-developed communication and inter-personal skills – face to face, email and in telephone contact – with customer service, cultural awareness, sensitivity and understanding which build and maintain effective and positive working relationships with immediate supervisors, colleagues and key stakeholders.Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision on several simultaneous projects.Ability to disseminate important information/instructions in ways that make it easy to understand and follow.Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and provide consistently high-level service and initiative.Ability to discuss and resolve problems amicably with tact and diplomacy.Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to high ethical standards.Interviews will take place onsite at the Merton Hall Campus, 86 Anderson Street South Yarra VIC 3141.
