Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend construction sites to estimate costs for building re-instatement works.
2. Interpret scope of works provided by consultants to ensure accurate estimates.
3. Prepare detailed scope of works documents when required.
4. Collaborate with supervisors to achieve set budgets and deliver high-quality results.
5. Build strong relationships with key personnel in the insurance industry to secure new business opportunities.
6. Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Coordinate access to properties with insured parties to facilitate site visits.
8. Engage with subcontractors during the quotation stage to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
9. Maintain compliance with legislative and contractual OH&S requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Verify all inspections, certificates, and relevant documentation is signed off to meet regulatory standards.
Requirements:
* A proven track record of demonstrating drive and energy in previous roles.
* Extreme motivation and ability to think outside the box to deliver innovative solutions.

* Carpentry or building trade qualification or equivalent experience.
* Estimating or insurance building background required.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, and Word.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to empathise with clients' needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Dispute resolution skills to manage conflicts effectively.
* Positive attitude and sound work ethic to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing tasks efficiently.
* Familiarity with OHS practices, legislations, and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Knowledge of current market rates and trades to provide informed estimates.
* Current and valid motor vehicle licence to travel to construction sites.
As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where necessary.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
