Please indicate your preference in the Cover Letter of your application)AV (Sound) Technician (0.2 FTE)(Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, and occasional evenings for College events)Key Responsibilities:Manage AV equipment for College events, including sound desks, microphones, and projectors.Provide technical support for sound mixing, audio-visual displays, and stage setups.Troubleshoot AV issues promptly and efficiently, even under time constraints.Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of AV and ICT systems.Supervise and mentor students in a hands-on environment.Essential Skills & Experience:Qualification or proven expertise in audio-visual technology, including sound mixing and microphone placement.Proven experience operating AV equipment, including sound desks and projectors, preferably within an educational or similar environment.High-level ICT knowledge and hands-on skills across audio, lighting, and stage setup.Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A willingness to support and model the Christian ethos and values of the College.IT Support (0.2 FTE)Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level technical support for Google Chromebooks, Windows 11, Mac OS X, and mobile devices.Address ICT issues and troubleshoot system concerns.Use the TASS student management system for tasks such as raising purchase orders.Collaborate with the IT team to optimize ICT operations and resources.Essential Skills & Experience:A strong interest in ICT, with robust problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.Ability to learn, grow, and adapt within a dynamic school environment.Effective planning and time-management skills.General Requirements for Both Roles:Relevant qualifications and/or practical experience.Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).Current Police Clearance.Completion of the National Principals Child Safe Modules (if not already completed).Eligibility to work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted).Passion for living out your Christian faith and supporting the ethos of the College.Excited by the possibilities?
