Position Overview: As a Radio Frequency Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimising advanced RF systems for defence applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art communication and radar systems, ensuring the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Responsibilities: Design, simulate, and analyse RF systems for defence applications. Experience with PCBA design and validation of various modules. Develop and test RF circuits and components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into larger defence platforms. Hardware design for manufacturing and EMC. Proficiency with test equipment for validation testing of digital and RF interfaces. Conduct performance evaluations and troubleshooting of RF systems. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in RF electronics. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in the design and development of RF circuits and systems. Theoretical and practical understanding of PCB layout techniques. Proficiency in tools such as Altium and Eagleware. Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques and equipment. Familiarity with defence industry standards and requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with RF circuit design for communication and radar systems. Knowledge of signal processing and modulation techniques. Familiarity with FPGA programming. Security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
