Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Recruitment Consultant at Cocoon SDA Care, a leading provider of specialist disability accommodation (SDA) and personalized care services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role is pivotal in managing the full recruitment cycle, ensuring we maintain our high standards of care and support for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the entire recruitment process for various roles within the organization, from job vacancy advertisements to successful candidate placements.
* Develop job descriptions and post vacancies across relevant platforms.
* Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for our organization.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
* Maintain an organised applicant tracking system to ensure efficient record-keeping.
* Build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
* Review and interpret employment laws, awards, contracts, wage systems, and dispute resolution processes to ensure compliance.
* Develop, plan, and create enterprise agreements or collective contracts, including implementing productivity-based wage adjustments and workplace relations policies.
* Supervise the establishment and functioning of workplace consultative committees and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS and industry standards throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare or disability services.
* Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and colleagues.
* Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
* Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusive practices.
