Lecturer, Speech Pathology and Clinical Supervisor
Contribute to the development and delivery of Speech Pathology units and clinical placements at our Gippsland Campus.
About the role
This is an integral position within our team, dedicated to delivering high-quality supervision, learning, and teaching experiences closely linked to contemporary health needs and contexts. As a clinical supervisor at the Berwick speech pathology clinic, you will contribute to unit development and delivery at undergraduate and graduate levels, and support research course and administrative functions.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop, teach, coordinate, and moderate units in speech therapy.
* Undertake supervision, teaching, and assessment of undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate students.
* Engage in research activities.
* Supervise students undertaking clinical placement, project units, honours programs, and research higher degrees.
About You
You will work as part of the Institute's academic and administrative staff. We seek an individual with proven educational, research, and professional experience who can embed long-term research strategies within the University's strategic framework and mission.
Your qualifications:
* Current membership of Speech Pathology Australia with CPSP status.
* A commitment to scholarship and potential for academic advancement.
* Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and a good record as a clinical supervisor.
* Previous experience in academic administration, including unit administration and clinical supervision.
