As a Financial Advisor specialising in life insurance, you will provide expert advice to clients, helping them navigate their options and select policies that align with their financial goals and personal needs. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, understanding client priorities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that offer protection and security. This role proves access to a large referral database so there is no need to develop new business, only convert leads when appropriate to do so. The organisations head office is located in Eltham however you will have the flexibility to work remotely as all meetings are conducted virtually (however candidates will only be considered for the role if they are based in Melbourne, as occasional in-person team meetings are required). What are the key duties?Provide personalised life insurance advice to clients;Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate products;Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing needs are met;Educate clients about policy options, coverage benefits, and the claims process;Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product offerings; andEnsure compliance with all relevant financial services legislation and company policies.Experience that would set you up for success:Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, financial planning or a related discipline FASEA Approved (essential);Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a qualified financial adviser or planner;Demonstrated track record of providing high-quality risk insurance advice;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;Commitment to ongoing professional development and a deep understanding of the financial planning industry; andAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independently to achieve goals.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Georgia Atherton at u&u on 03 9437 4821 or email georgia.atherton@uandu.com quoting reference number 40092.
