Veolia ANZ is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Resource Recovery team at our Ti Tree Bioenergy facility. As the Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all of the equipment within the Powerstation.This is a full-time permanent position with overtime available. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working within the heavy industrial space, as well as the opportunity for on-the-job training and upskilling.What's on offerOn-the-job training and career development providedSite-based role, no FIFO requiredCompetitive remuneration packageOn-call allowanceTool of Trade vehicleWhat you'll be responsible forTo operate, service, maintain and repair plants and equipment within the Powerstation in a timely manner.Complete scheduled daily work tasks and complete work orders as directed by the Gas To Energy Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner.Assisting with planning scheduled maintenance tasks.Monitoring and reporting on the status and condition of plants and systems.Record, maintain stock and parts levels and advise any discrepancies.What you'll need to be successfulTrade qualified light/heavy vehicle or mechanical fitter.Previous experience working with heavy industrial gas-fired engines advantageous but not essential.Experience working with type B equipment desired.If you don’t possess these skills, we’d still like to hear from you!
