We are currently seeking a General Psychologist to work within our Springwood Office to support participants accessing services via Medicare, NDIS or private health. Position Overview: This position is central to our mission of resolving complexity and empowering individuals toward improved health and well-being. Given the nature of our work with both children and adults, this position offers the flexibility to work across different age groups. Alternatively, you may choose to specialise in your preferred age group. Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced senior members who can provide you with support and guidance in your area of preference. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for clients accessing services through various funding streams, including Medicare, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and Primary Health Care programs, Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to address a wide range of psychological conditions and ensuring tailored and effective treatment plans for each client. Contribute to the development of research publications, particularly in areas relevant to the client population served by Fortify Health Group. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other psychologists, therapists, medical professionals, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care to clients, participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing psychological expertise to inform holistic care plans. Act as an advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to ensure that services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the diverse needs of the community, engage with external stakeholders, including funding bodies, community organizations, and other service providers, to promote collaboration and enhance the overall quality and impact of mental health services. Role Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Psychology One or more years’ experience as a registered psychologist Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA. Current Queensland driver’s license. A Paid Blue card or the ability to obtain one is essential NDIS worker screening check or the ability to obtain one is essential Benefits: – Competitive compensation package of $101,275 to $129,745 per year excluding superannuation.
