The Senior Manager, Design & Space Strategy will play a pivotal role in optimising the University's campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of strategic briefs, master plans, precinct plans, and design/occupancy standards
* Drive stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with the University's vision and goals
* Spearhead space management strategies to maximise the use of campus spaces
* Provide assurance on project delivery to align with strategic objectives
* Collaborate with Colleges and Divisions across all campuses to optimise space utilisation
Requirements:
* Design Expertise: Postgraduate qualifications in architecture, interior design, urban design, or related fields
* Leadership: A proven ability to lead change, manage multiple complex projects, and inspire stakeholders
* Analytical Skills: Advanced capabilities in interpreting business needs, developing project briefs, and delivering space analytics and reporting tools
* Communication: Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills across diverse client groups
* Sector Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Australian higher education sector and sustainable building design solutions
* Technical Proficiency: Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Archibus, Syllabus Plus, and Maximo
