About the Role The Area Hotel Manager is accountable for driving operational excellence and exceptional service across a diverse portfolio of properties in NSW. This role focuses on motivating and inspiring teams while assisting the Regional General Manager NSW/ACT/VIC in enhancing business efficiency and ensuring that brand standards are consistently upheld throughout the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Service Consistency : Ensure that service delivery and brand standards are consistently met across all properties. Team Leadership : Provide strong leadership to onsite teams, fostering a culture of excellence. Financial Leadership : Mentor Hotel Managers in managing occupancy, wages, and controllable expenses effectively. Service Vision Champion : Advocate for the brand's service vision (MERIT) and ensure alignment among hotel leadership teams. Guest Feedback Management : Review guest feedback with leadership teams and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. Complaint Resolution : Address and resolve guest complaints escalated beyond the Hotel Manager level. Leadership Profile Hands-On Leadership : A proactive leader who supports Hotel Managers through operational guidance. Exemplary Standards : Committed to driving 5-star standards with a keen eye for detail. Collaborative Approach : Proven ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. Multi-Hotel Management Experience : Experience in managing multiple hotels, preferably 4-5 star properties. Accountability : Holds leaders accountable for performance, driving results through Hotel Managers. Senior Leadership Background : Strong hotel management experience in a senior leadership role within 4-5 star properties. Key Attributes Operational Expertise : Extensive knowledge and experience in leading hotel operations, particularly in rooms division. Commercial Acumen : Strong understanding of commercial principles. Team Orientation : Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives as part of a team.
