Join our team as a Security & Parking Supervisor and take charge of safety and convenience and to oversee security operations and parking facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency for all patrons and property.
You will:
* Assists the Security and Parking Manager as required to ensure provision of highest quality department services
* Deputise for the Security and Parking Manager in their absence
* Ensuring on-site Security standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to at all times whilst on-duty
* Employ hazard risk management principles to mitigate risks
* Participation in on-the-job training and using initiative to gather further business intelligence around new and/or unfamiliar/adhoc duties
* Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events as directed to.
* Coaching, mentoring/and supporting of security and parking team members with the objective to build a high performing team
* Acting on any incidents/or injuries, near misses, equipment faults, complaints and information that is security related
* Maintain, monitor, input or/and retrieve data from security and parking systems including but not restricted to access security, close circuit television, parking systems and duress systems
* As part of a team review contractor services and provide input into quality reviews.
About You
Essential:
* Demonstrate ability to prioritise workload so that tasks are completed effectively to a high standard safely and in a timely manner
* Attend relevant in-house training sessions to further your knowledge and skills in performing duties to the highest standard
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills. With exposure to various databases in line with the role including but not restricted to access security, close circuit television, parking systems and duress systems
* Completed Accredited Security Course, either through employment or a Registered Security Agent.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a security role
* Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Exposure in conflict management
* Previous control room and or /parking experience.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $27 - $30 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
