At UGL, we are seeking interest from Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance Engineers to join our Fuels & Energy East business where we work closely to deliver solutions to our customers across Australia. We have long-term, key contracts with global organisations and are continuously developing our skillset to evolve in the Energy and Fuel Terminal market.
The role of the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer is key within our team and will be responsible for supporting the maintenance delivery for terminals along the East Coast of Australia, leading the maintenance program by providing technical expertise through working with a team of various disciplines, to provide a safe, reliable and an efficient maintenance program.
About the Role
1. Delivery of maintenance services to Fuel Terminals under the Portfolio
2. Provide technical advice and support on instrument and control engineering to the field operations and maintenance teams
3. Troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems to understand the probable cause of failure and develop solutions to reduce recurrence
4. Design and implement control strategies for the assigned Operating Area
5. Support the coordination and planning of EI&C maintenance activities
6. Develop and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of site maintenance
7. Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the specialist and regional teams both in project delivery and asset management.
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally, you will have:
1. Tertiary Engineering bachelor qualification (Electrical/Mechatronics/Control Systems) or similar
2. 5+ years demonstrated experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Systems design, engineering, maintenance or commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries
3. Extensive working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control deliverables
4. Experience in the design, selection, configuration and installation of different types of Instrumentation
5. Knowledge of Australian & International codes and standards, good engineering practice and the applicable statutory requirements with respect to Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
