The role: Due to growth, we're hiring two new Business Development Managers—one in Victoria and one in Queensland (Brisbane or Townsville). Each role will drive Symal's expansion in their region by conducting market analysis and implementing strategies to strengthen our position in the civil infrastructure sector. Your impact: Through your business development, Symal will be best positioned for tangible business opportunities across the market in various sectors. Your every day: Conducting thorough research on multiple market sectors that are being targeted by Symal Identifying and acting on quality leads and their services Managing and maintaining strategic client plans, identifying key clients, their services and potential future business opportunities Preparing and recommending marketing plans & strategies Active involvement in the tender submission process Representing Symal at various industry events to enhance networking opportunities Who are you? 5+ years experience in a similar BDM role within construction, building or other related sectors Excellent negotiation and sales skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to coherently communicate ideas and opportunities to stakeholders Demonstrated track record of success in past roles Self motivated & solution orientated A career with us Symal is an equal opportunity employer.
