Our client, a leading Global Investment Bank with an excellent reputation and high-profile client list, is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support deal execution in Infrastructure, Energy and/or Renewables.
About the Role
This role requires experience in investment banking, project finance, M&A Advisory, financial modelling, corporate development or investment management, particularly in infrastructure, energy, renewables or similar sectors.
Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies and industries, including financial statement modelling, valuation and comparable company analysis.
* Assist in executing various financial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPOs), debt and equity offerings, leveraged buyouts and restructuring activities.
* Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments and economic conditions that may impact clients' businesses or investment decisions.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing advisory services and supporting business development initiatives.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and seamless execution of transactions.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
* Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance or related financial services roles.
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in financial research and data analysis tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proactive, self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and financial markets.
