They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.About the opportunity:This is a key role in which you support the Sydney Sales Manager in managing the delivery of designated projects within our Concrete business. You will be a key conduit between Holcim and the onsite client project teams and be critical in helping Holcim to understand and meet client project requirements and in ensuring a positive, mutually beneficial relationship throughout the course of the projects.You will have a strong focus on identifying and managing the logistical elements of project delivery; uphold our unwavering commitment to safety and quality and be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Develop concrete outlook schedules and forecasts to ensure Holcim's requirements for the daily project concrete supply can be adequately met.Ensure pre-pour planning sessions conducted by sites are attended to, ensuring requirements and deadlines are fully understood.Conduct daily communication with Sales Managers, Ops Managers & CSC to facilitate planning and implementation of initiatives.Represent Holcim at meetings with Sites to resolve any potential claims e.g. waiting time, quality etc.Attend and coordinate site pre-pour Construction planning meetings.Co-ordinate, confirm and schedule/re-schedule daily pour requirements in consultation with Sites.Co-ordinate testing resources as required to achieve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Monitor behaviours and efficiency of Holcim testing subcontractors (Construction Science) to ensure compliance to Holcim/Client rules, procedures, ITPs and performance expectations.Provide support to the Technical Team where required.About you:Degree qualifications in engineering, logistics, or a related field (preferred although not essential).Sales and/or technical experience in the concrete industry or related sectors.Proven track record in project coordination, including logistics and relationship management.An unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.Thrives in dynamic environments, showcasing adaptability and resilience.Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Highly effective communication skills.This is an outstanding opportunity to join our high performing team and to develop your career in our world leading business.Why Holcim?At Holcim we offer an inclusive environment, where our people feel comfortable bringing their authentic self to work.
