The King Island Hospital and Health Centre provides excellent health care to the community through Emergency First Response Unit, acute hospital beds, Residential Aged Care in Netherby Home as well as community services.
The Role:
* Assist in areas of personal care and hygiene, as outlined by the individual resident care plan.
* Be aware and respectful of the Charter of Aged Care Rights.
* Establish effective relationships with clients, their families/carers, and other health care professionals.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, shift worker (fully rotational) position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $62,486 to $65,119 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family.
Desirable Criteria:
* Holds, or working towards, a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
