Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Project Development Analyst to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.
This role requires candidates to be Australian or US citizens to obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.
The Role Purpose and Scope
The Project Development Analyst is a key member of the Project Development Office within Amentum's Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction (EPIC) team, based in Alice Springs.
Responsibilities include supporting schedule development, project proposal development, and cost analysis for the service and support of construction, operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems within the scope of Amentum programs and pursuits in Australia.
Essential Responsibilities
* Provide project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and implementing and monitoring project plans.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation purposes.
* Support the development of high-level visibility reports and metrics to track progress and measure department outcomes.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain real-time development status of all active projects.
* Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure schedule adherence and milestone targets are successfully met or mitigated.
Qualifications
Minimum Essential Diploma Qualifications in Business, Management, or Project Management.
Desirable Cert Qualifications in Business, Management, or Project Management.
Experience and Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience working in large-scale, complex projects.
* Proficiency in MS Project or similar.
* Proposal and Project Management process knowledge.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Statement of Work Requirements: At least 18 years of age, able to fluently read, write, and speak English, and Australian or US citizen.
