Your new role You will lead RACT's corporate communications, support and grow RACT's reputation and position as an influential voice in Tasmania. The role incorporates public relations, media management, and delivering communiations through traditional and digital channels to inform and instigate change.. You will also manage the development and delivery of key corporate documents including annual report and ESG reporting.Lead and develop capability and outcomes across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective communications.Manage the development of key corporate communications including implementing RACT's sustainability and ESG reporting, annual report, and modern slavery statement.Proactively identify media and content opportunities to secure prominent and positive coverage that positions RACT in line with strategic and brand objectives. Lead corporate communications - issues management advice, support and communications to stakeholders, manage crisis communications planning and execution, serving as a key advisor during critical incidents.Support the office of the CEO through advice and communication support (speeches, written communications).Oversee the development and execution of the PR calendar and strategy, while managing relationships and deliverables with external agencies.Develop and deliver annual advocacy and corporate communications strategy and plan, integrating with marketing and other communication activities. What you'll need to succeed Significant experience in a corporate communications role - developing a broad range of communications, tailored to the relevant audiences, and delivering communications through a variety of channels.Experience in or strong understanding of developing and managing organisational sustainability and ESG reporting under Australia's Climate reporting frameworks.Exceptional writing and communication skills, including editing, writing, and proof-reading expertise.Experience in successfully delivering multifaceted corporate and communication projects and programs.Project management skillsExperience across digital communication and content strategy.Ability to work under-pressure, especially in crisis situations.This role will entail some work outside of regular working hours as well as travel interstate and within Tasmania.
