Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 a year

Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas, and guest accommodation.
The George Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chefs to join their team.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
* Skills in preparing different varieties of cuisine
* Creativity and high presentation standards
* Ability to create dishes with consistency
* Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
* Ability to contribute to menu planning
* Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
* Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
* Achieving all safety, hygiene, and food quality standards
* Manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
* Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
* Proactive, energetic, and passionate about the hospitality industry
* Effective communication skills with an approachable manner
