About the role
Join the dynamic team at our historic Moss Hotel as a Front Desk Hotel Receptionist in Hobart, TAS. This full-time position is the first point of contact for our hotel guests, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
What you'll be doing
1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
2. Front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, handling guest inquiries, and processing payments
3. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options
4. Coordinate with other hotel receptionists to ensure guest needs are met
5. Maintain a clean and organised front desk area
6. Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols
7. Assist with housekeeping when required
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a front desk role within the hospitality industry
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
4. Proficient in using hotel management software and various office equipment
5. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
6. A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
