This role will strengthen the existing IT team, focusing on the continual support for our customers and improving our company wide IT infrastructure and systems.
Primarily focusing on 1st line Support, the role involves offering support and technical assistance to our customers who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.
Responsibilities
Installing and configuring software applications / computer systems
Responding to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
Diagnosing and solving hardware / software faults
Research questions using available information resources
Support, maintain and monitor internal systems
Documenting resolutions for future reference
Redirect / escalate issues appropriately
Who we're looking for
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Dependable, enthusiastic and personable
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Previous experience in IT Helpdesk / Support role is also beneficial but not essential
