With proven experience and expertise across the project lifecycle, they work with local communities and their customers to spearhead the transition to Australia's clean energy future.As a result of successful business ventures, they are seeking a Project Officer based in Brisbane to support the Project Manager, responsible for contributing to the development of plans by providing backing to Project Developers in site identification, screening, land security, and early-stage planning processes.ResponsibilitiesSupport the compilation of site data using GIS, including topographic and cadastral data, site constraints, property schedule, residence matrix, and stakeholder management plan.Work with members of the technical team to develop layouts throughout the development process.Collaborative consultation with landowners, negotiation of landowner agreements, legal dealings, and other correspondence as required.Assist the management of external consultants to undertake studies throughout the development process.Support the stakeholder consultation process with local and/or State planning authorities, other regulators, the general public, landowners, and other stakeholders.Provide production of Environmental Impact Statement documents, Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation referrals, and any other statutory applications required for project development.Conduct regular site visits to consult with project stakeholders, assist in on-site studies where required, inspect monitoring equipment as required, and escort clients and contractors around sites.RequirementsBachelor's degree or greater in relevant studies such as renewable energy, planning, geography, business, environmental science, geospatial science (desirable).A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a project officer or consultant within the environmental and planning sector in Australia.Experience or demonstrated knowledge in State Significant Developments.Experience with environmental impact assessments and planning.Familiarity with landowner, stakeholder, and planning elements of the renewable project development process (desirable).Some experience using GIS programs.Ability to maintain effective and collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders.Seniority LevelNot ApplicableEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionConsulting, Analyst, and Project ManagementIndustriesEnvironmental Services, Services for Renewable Energy, and Environmental Quality Programs#J-18808-Ljbffr
