The Opportunity
Findex currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). We offer flexibility with both permanent and max-term contracts available, and the option to work remotely from anywhere in Australia.
This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management and deliver of highly strategic projects with a focused on transforming our people, culture, and operating model. The collective goal of these project is to ensure we have high performing culture and enable our teams to improve how we deliver tailored services and streamline client interactions. This role will be crucial in driving alignment across people, operational and client facing teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication and delivery of project outcomes.
What will your typical week look like?
* Plan, execute, and close projects within a broader program of work using best practice methodologies (Waterfall, Agile & Lean), taking a best of breed approach where necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and in alignment with programs objectives
* Effectively manage project scope, milestones, benefits, budget, monitor change and timelines using prescribed systems (JIRA) and tools
* Proactively identify and raise risks and issues to the program leadership. Where necessary, provide recommendations to program leaders and Steering Committees that mitigate issues and implement solutions to overcome these
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and sponsors by providing regular project updates, calling out issues early and providing recommendations that minimise delays and creates better outcomes.

To be successful you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
* Relevant experience managing large-scale strategic projects
* Experience with people and change projects and/or operating model implementations
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile and tools including JIRA
* Experience in human-centred design and design thinking principles is advantageous
* Experience in large corporate environments, with exposure to financial or professional services is beneficial but not essential
