About the Role
Our Corporate Analyst provides support to the Corporate Relationship Executive as required by preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers and completion of periodic credit reviews.
You will also liaise with Loans Centre/HP staff and external professional services providers to ensure all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.
The role requires a high standard of customer service to generate new business and ensure customer retention, as well as effectively undertaking completion of administrative, reporting and regulatory tasks as required at the direction of the Relationship Executive.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Writing both simple & complex lending submissions > $10m.
2. Document preparation request and accurate review of completed documents.
3. Supporting the Relationship Executive in identifying, progressing and executing on new opportunities for the Bank.
4. Achieving targeted levels of customer service standards.
5. Assisting in building strong relationships with customers through the provision of banking solutions.
6. Ensuring that BOQ’s credit policies, procedures and audit requirements are adhered to.
7. Liaising with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure documentation is accurate and settlements are completed in a timely manner.
About you
Our successful candidate will have:
8. Previous experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions > $10m.
9. Ability to critically analyse and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
10. Demonstrated ability in providing superior customer service.
11. Able to establish strong internal and external relationships, solve problems and make decisions.
12. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
13. Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
14. Strong time management skills.
15. Advanced numeracy and financial modelling skills.
