Fund Operations Analyst / Chartered Accountant – Investment Manager
Platinum Pacific Partners is partnering with a global specialist investment management firm to recruit for a newly created role within their Fund Operations function. The team is highly skilled, the culture is exceptional, and the company boasts some of the market’s top investment professionals, who maintain a fundamental, long-term investment approach.
Our client is dedicated to dynamically managing this function to drive continuous process improvement, strengthen risk management, and ensure regulatory compliance. To support these goals, we are seeking a Sydney-based Fund Operations Analyst to join their global fund operations team.

Experience in areas such as audit or business services, particularly from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, will be preferred.
The role is ideal for someone curious, analytical, and eager to gain broad exposure to operational responsibilities, including fund operations, trade management, client service/investor reporting, and various ad hoc projects designed to enhance operational efficiency.
As the team continues to grow, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to advance their career with the firm.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
* Fund accounting, valuations and reconciliations.
* Trading and Settlements.
* Projects, Process enhancement, systems development and internal controls.
Candidates of interest will have the following:
* Demonstrated strong academic performance (transcripts required).
* Chartered Accountant or working towards this qualification; Big 4 or mid-tier experience is highly regarded.
* 3–6 years of professional experience in audit or business services, ideally with financial services or investment management clients, particularly from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, with a proven track record of success and a strong interest in investment management, fund accounting, and financial markets.
* Strong proficiency in Excel.
* Ability to learn quickly, excel in day-to-day responsibilities, and actively contribute to process improvement.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
* Highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate proactively and independently.
* Capability to identify and understand complex client needs and respond in a timely, professional manner.
* Full working rights for Australia, without restrictions, are essential.
The firm fosters a culture that values intellectual curiosity, individualism, and collaboration, encouraging our team to share ideas, challenge the status quo, and take ownership of their work. With a focus on growth, agility, and philanthropy, they provide continuous learning opportunities, flexibility to balance professional and personal needs, and avenues to make a positive societal impact.
