We advise on regulatory and legislative change and help clients to manage their domestic and international employment tax risks effectively, so enthusiasm to understand our clients' problems and help them to make informed decisions is vital in this role.Job DescriptionUsing technical ability and practical experience to deliver technical and commercially focused advice on matters such as SG, payroll tax, FBT and PAYG withholding, as well as helping the client to practically implement any proposed solutions. Accurately reviewing fringe benefit tax returns, payroll tax annual reconciliations, superannuation guarantee charge statements and work cover rateable remuneration declarations, and related deliverables within designated deadlines. Analysing payroll codes for SG, payroll tax, FBT, STP and PAYG withholding obligations. Assisting taxpayers with resolving audits or SRO disputes. Staying up to date with employer governance regulations and best practice and keeping clients informed of any changes. Having a keen interest in technology and being open to learning how it may be used to drive data driven solutions. Developing client and colleague relationships both through face to face and virtual means, as well as attending internal and external networking events. Responsible for the financial management of the engagement (this includes billings, collection, metrics & KPIs tracking). Working within a team both globally and nationally, whilst also being able to work independently. Supervising junior staff on a day to day basis, whilst overseeing their personal and technical development. Gain a broad understanding of other service lines within the business to identify cross-functional issues and collaborate with other Mobility SMEs for integrated solutions. Evaluating opportunities for existing clients as well as undertaking business development activities to help grow a wider client base. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential growth areas and opportunities.
